Be Respectful and Kind
- Treat all members with kindness and respect, regardless of their experience level or background. Everyone is here to learn, share, and grow.
- Use language that is considerate, supportive, and free of harmful or offensive remarks.
- Absolutely no violent, aggressive, or abusive language will be tolerated.
No Politics or Religious Discussions
- This community is focused on tech leadership, not politics or religion. Please keep conversations professional and aligned with the community’s purpose.
- We welcome diverse perspectives on tech, but discussions of political or religious nature can easily become divisive. Let’s keep the focus on leadership and technology.
Stay On Topic and Avoid Spamming
- Keep conversations relevant to tech leadership, team building, knowledge sharing, and related topics.
- For job postings, use the designated channels to prevent spamming. Avoid cross-posting the same job in multiple channels.
- If you’re promoting a resource or event, ensure it brings value to the community. Excessive self-promotion is discouraged.
Foster a Collaborative and Supportive Environment
- Encourage open, constructive conversations. Help others when you can, and feel free to ask for advice or feedback.
- Avoid talking down to others; the goal is to uplift and guide fellow tech leaders.
- Constructive feedback is welcome, but ensure it’s given with empathy and understanding.
Keep the Space Insightful and Professional
- Share experiences, lessons, and insights to help others grow in their leadership roles.
- Please avoid sharing confidential or sensitive information from your company or projects. Be mindful of privacy and ethical concerns.
- This is a space to grow professionally, so focus on building positive relationships and providing value to others.
Zero Tolerance for Discrimination or Harassment
- Harassment, discrimination, or any kind of marginalization based on gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or other personal characteristics will not be tolerated.
- Violating this rule will result in immediate removal from the community.
Ask for Help if Needed
- If you feel uncomfortable or witness any violations of this Code of Conduct, please reach out to the admins. We are here to ensure this remains a positive and safe space for everyone.
In-Person Meetups
- Occasional in-person meetups are meant to foster deeper relationships and learning opportunities. Please bring the same level of respect, kindness, and professionalism to these events.
