Tech Leaders Exchange Code of Conduct
Welcome to the Tech Leaders Exchange Slack Community! We are here to build a supportive, insightful, and friendly space for sharing knowledge, experiences, and learning from one another. To ensure a healthy and engaging environment for all, we kindly ask you to follow these guidelines:
Be Respectful and Kind

  • Treat all members with kindness and respect, regardless of their experience level or background. Everyone is here to learn, share, and grow.
  • Use language that is considerate, supportive, and free of harmful or offensive remarks.
  • Absolutely no violent, aggressive, or abusive language will be tolerated.

No Politics or Religious Discussions

  • This community is focused on tech leadership, not politics or religion. Please keep conversations professional and aligned with the community’s purpose.
  • We welcome diverse perspectives on tech, but discussions of political or religious nature can easily become divisive. Let’s keep the focus on leadership and technology.

Stay On Topic and Avoid Spamming

  • Keep conversations relevant to tech leadership, team building, knowledge sharing, and related topics.
  • For job postings, use the designated channels to prevent spamming. Avoid cross-posting the same job in multiple channels.
  • If you’re promoting a resource or event, ensure it brings value to the community. Excessive self-promotion is discouraged.

Foster a Collaborative and Supportive Environment

  • Encourage open, constructive conversations. Help others when you can, and feel free to ask for advice or feedback.
  • Avoid talking down to others; the goal is to uplift and guide fellow tech leaders.
  • Constructive feedback is welcome, but ensure it’s given with empathy and understanding.

Keep the Space Insightful and Professional

  • Share experiences, lessons, and insights to help others grow in their leadership roles.
  • Please avoid sharing confidential or sensitive information from your company or projects. Be mindful of privacy and ethical concerns.
  • This is a space to grow professionally, so focus on building positive relationships and providing value to others.

Zero Tolerance for Discrimination or Harassment

  • Harassment, discrimination, or any kind of marginalization based on gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or other personal characteristics will not be tolerated.
  • Violating this rule will result in immediate removal from the community.

Ask for Help if Needed

  • If you feel uncomfortable or witness any violations of this Code of Conduct, please reach out to the admins. We are here to ensure this remains a positive and safe space for everyone.

In-Person Meetups

  • Occasional in-person meetups are meant to foster deeper relationships and learning opportunities. Please bring the same level of respect, kindness, and professionalism to these events.

By being a part of this community, you agree to follow these guidelines and contribute to maintaining a respectful, positive, and insightful environment for everyone.

We are TLE

We are a community of tech leaders who came together to share knowledge, support each other, and grow as leaders. What started as a small group of like-minded people has grown into a space where CTOs, team leads, and new leaders from different companies can connect, learn, and share their experiences.

Our mission is to build a supportive network where anyone can ask questions, give advice, and get help with leadership challenges. We believe that learning from each other makes us all better leaders and helps us create stronger teams.

Join us to exchange ideas, get inspired, and be part of a community that values growth and open communication.
